Short version: The extension collects no personal data. We store only an anonymous session ID, the retailer domain, and which code was applied. Your email address is only collected if you join the waitlist, and we'll never share it.
Acoeur is a browser extension and waitlist service. Our website is acoeur.app. For privacy matters, contact us at privacy@acoeur.app.
When you use the Acoeur Chrome extension and apply a discount code at checkout, we log:
| Data | Why | Stored how |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous session ID | Distinguish unique uses without identifying you | Random UUID, lives only for your browser session |
| Retailer domain | Know which shop the code was used at | Stored in our database (e.g. "gymshark.com") |
| Code applied | Track which codes work, rank them better | Stored in our database |
| Timestamp | Know how recent a code's success is | Stored in our database |
We never collect: your name, email, IP address, purchase amount, items bought, or any other personal information. We do not use browser fingerprinting.
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address via Formspree. We use it only to contact you when Acoeur launches. We will never sell it, share it with third parties for marketing, or send you anything unrelated to Acoeur.
We do not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on acoeur.app.
We use the following third-party services to operate Acoeur:
| Service | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database (anonymous attribution events) | Session ID, retailer, code, timestamp |
| Vercel | API hosting | Standard server logs (IP addresses in transit only, not stored) |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting and DNS | Standard CDN logs |
| Formspree | Waitlist form processing | Email address (waitlist sign-ups only) |
| Anthropic | AI used to extract and validate discount codes from public sources | Retailer names and raw scraped text only — no user data is ever sent |
If you are based in the UK or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Because the extension stores only anonymous session IDs with no link to your identity, there is in practice no personal data associated with extension use that we can retrieve for you.
For waitlist data (your email), you can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@acoeur.app and we will remove it within 72 hours.
Anonymous attribution events are retained for 12 months and then deleted. Waitlist emails are deleted once Acoeur has launched and initial onboarding is complete, or sooner on request.
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes that affect waitlist subscribers, we will send an email notification.
